Dance Fit is a high energy workout so be prepared to sweat!

You don't have to think - you just follow the instructor and let the endorphins flow.

Classes are suitable for all levels of dance and fitness. Modify the movements and intensity to suit you.

  • RnB

    Channel your inner Beyonce and rock out to killer old and new school RnB and hip hop tracks.

  • AFRO/CARIBBEAN

    Let loose to a banging playlist of high energy Afro & Caribbean tracks. Think an African fusion of dance, with some dancehall and soca thrown in to the mix!

  • LATIN

    Shimmy, salsa and samba. This is a dance cardio workout that feels more like a fiesta! Shimmy away to our spicy Latin playlist including salsa, samba, bachata and reggaeton.

  • MIXED STYLES

    This class is a mix of a genres - want variety? This is for you! Dance to a mash up of RnB, hip hop, Afro, pop and Latin beats.

INSTRUCTORS

Hey, Jo here! I put the “Jo” in MOJO, and I created this studio because dance has completely transformed my mental and physical health. After leaving my law career due to burnout and mental struggles, I found my mojo again through dance. Mojo Dance is about sharing the power of dance with EVERYONE —no matter your age, ability, or experience. I just want to shake it with you, so you can feel amazing—bottom line!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • We have 4 different Dance Fit classes to choose from. Check out our timetable here.

  • Yes! Our dance fit classes are catered for absolute beginners (most of our participants have no prior dance experience) through to experienced dancers. Modified steps will be demonstrated so that you can keep up with the choreography. The focus is on FUN. There is no expectation to nail the moves.

  • Whatever you are comfortable working out in (and what makes you feel good!) Any kind of activewear is fine. Comfortable trainers are a must.

  • The great thing about dance fit is that you can modify the moves to suit your fitness and dance level. Follow the modified moves and simply go at your own pace. It's YOUR class; YOUR experience. You do you, boo. We just want to see you moving and having fun!

  • Just your amazing self, a drink bottle and a towel if you're a sweaty betty.
